Longwood Board elects new officers; Member-at-Large deferred to September

The Longwood University Board of Visitors elected new officers for the coming year at its June 5 meeting. Charles Fagan moved to elect Jeff Nottingham as Rector, David Rose as Vice Rector, and Kathleen Early as Secretary; Brian Schmalzbach seconded the motion and the board approved it unanimously.
The board deferred selection of the Member-at-Large until the September meeting when new members are scheduled to be seated. Board members congratulated the newly elected officers during the meeting.
