Board approves series of routine budget, personnel and equipment resolutions
Summary
The Town Board approved a package of budget, personnel, equipment repair and housekeeping resolutions — including certifying class tax shares, interfund budget modifications, permanent hire for a park supervisor (amended), authorization to enter a natural-gas supply agreement, repair authorizations for a vac truck, and surplus property declarations — mostly by unanimous roll call.
During the resolutions portion of the July 30 meeting the board approved several administrative and budget items. Among actions taken were certification of adjusted and current base proportions for tax-shared levies, budgetary modifications and interfund transfers to clean up capital project lines, permanent appointment of a park supervisor (the board amended the resolution to remove the word "probationary" and then approved it), and authorization for the supervisor to enter a natural‑gas supply agreement (the item was explicitly limited to natural gas, not electricity).
The board also approved repairs for a vac truck via sole‑source authorization, amended a prior resolution (pump control valve specs), accepted surplus property declarations, appointed a student representative to the conservation advisory council (the appointing council member abstained), and amended the hiring pool for seasonal pool staff. Nearly all items passed by roll call with 5 ayes recorded where votes were given.
