Supervisor Cassidy Dorian presented a ceremonial resolution recognizing the inaugural Capital Region Leadership Initiative (CRLI) Niskayuna cohort and asked the clerk to read the measure. The board voted unanimously to adopt the resolution and invited program leaders, volunteers and students forward for a photo.
The resolution, read into the record by the clerk, described CRLI Niskayuna as a free leadership series for young residents roughly ages 18–20 and noted the program’s five pillars — career exploration, networking, life skills, community engagement and credentialing. A council member said it “was an absolute pleasure” to host the program and thanked local mentors and volunteers who participated. The clerk noted that 16 residents successfully completed the inaugural 2026 cohort.
The board expressed appreciation for Susan Polsonelli and other program organizers and encouraged residents to apply for future cohorts.
