The Board received the March personnel report during the consent agenda. Human Resources reported the retirement of Jean Spehalski, Special Education Aide at Bothwell Middle School effective Feb. 27, 2026, and multiple resignations with stated effective dates (for example, Barbara Margrif, Special Education Aide, effective March 27, 2026; Sarah Collins, Superior Hills, effective April 10, 2026).
Staff recommended a set of internal and external appointments to fill vacancies and add positions tied to student needs, including recommended hires for Special Education Aide roles at Graveraet, Superior Hills and Cherry Creek, a building custodian and a noon-hour director. The report noted all hires are contingent on successful completion of required employment paperwork and criminal-history checks.
