The Dundee Community Schools Board recorded several formal actions at its Sept. 8 meeting. The board approved the meeting agenda (amended to add state site assessments) and passed a consent agenda that included Aug. 11 meeting minutes, the 2025-26 Head Start (MCISD) Food Service Agreement, the 2025-26 NWEA agreement, and operational invoices. All consent and agenda votes passed 6-0 with one absence.
Under the Superintendent heading the board accepted the resignation of Emily Marek, Elementary Lunch/Recess ParaProfessional, effective immediately; the acceptance was moved by Crystal Root, seconded by Patricia Motylinski and passed 6-0 with one absence. The board also voted to go into closed session for student discipline (motion by Keith Pilbeam, seconded by Kimberly Wilkins), a motion that recorded the same 6-0 with one absence tally. The meeting adjourned at 8:38 p.m.; that motion likewise passed 6-0 with one absence.
