Board schedules officer election, governance and award items for future agendas

At the Jan. 12 meeting the board noted several governance items to be included on upcoming regular meeting agendas: 2026 officer elections (board member reorganization), a Board Code of Conduct and Operating Procedures, and publication of nominations for a Board Award.
Trustees also noted that the district will present options for legal counsel (Clark Hill and THRUN) for inclusion on a future agenda. Board members discussed a staffing update and a possible presentation on a Smartboot installation; none of these items resulted in a formal vote in the minutes.
