Vice President for Student Affairs Cameron Patterson told the Board that Residential and Commuter Life guarantees housing for all students and outlined upcoming events including the Citizen Leader Award, Joan of Arc awards and a retooled Spring Weekend with the Friday concert in the Joan Perry Brock Center. Patterson noted several well-being initiatives under way, a redesigned well-being website, initial work on a financial well-being program and the opening of the N.H. Scott Center in Lankford Hall.
SGA President Cameron Lowry said the Senate passed a resolution seeking enhancements to outdoor spaces, that budget hearings are scheduled for next month, and that the student organization budget pool is $570,000. Lowry described SGA’s budget process: student organizations propose budgets and the Senate holds hearings to allocate funding.
