The Board moved to accept the Consent Agenda with the exception of Item F. The motion, moved by Mrs. Nash and supported by Ms. Harrison, passed by voice vote (Ayes: 7, Nays: 0). Included in the approved items were: approval of meeting minutes (Jan. 14, Jan. 21, Jan. 26), the February 2026 Human Resources/Labor Relations Report, the January 2026 financials, and a scanning proposal (CA-60s Phase I 2026-01-08 Saginaw Public Schools) for $59,930.80 to be paid from General Funds.
Also approved were the Open Enrollment and Schools of Choice timelines for 2026–27, the 2025–26 General and Grant Fund budget revisions as presented, and the renaming of the Saginaw United Life Skills Center to Mattie Thompson Life Skills Center. Item F (SASA International Field Trip) had been removed for clarification on funding and later was approved by a separate motion (Ayes: 7, Nays: 0).
