The Alexandria Public School District board approved a broad consent agenda at its Dec. 15 meeting that included meeting minutes, district claims and a series of personnel recommendations. The personnel slate recorded new licensed hires (for example, Breanna Adelman, .5 FTE Speech Language Pathologist, EEC, effective 1/5/26) and multiple non-licensed hires and status changes; the agenda also listed resignations and leaves of absence.
The consent motion also adopted multiple district policies (Policy 423, 424, 425, 427, 430, 432, 452) and immediately adopted other policies under Policy 208 (including Policies 606, 712 and 722). The board approved affiliation and service agreements with outside partners — including the University of North Dakota, University of Minnesota Duluth, Minnesota State University Moorhead, a seasonal snow plow contract with Exterior Designs and a lease with the Douglas County Agricultural Association — and adopted curriculum/program modifications for Alexandria Area High School and Discovery Middle School. The consent agenda passed unanimously (Ayes 5, Nays 0).
