Hearing for 1st Learning Stages special-exception application continued to Sept. 18

The presiding examiner announced on Aug. 21 that the hearing on application CDash2023-004 — a special-exception request for 1st Learning Stages Daycare Center — will be continued to Sept. 18 at 9:30 a.m. "The property was not posted properly in time for this hearing date. And therefore, this hearing will be continued until September 18 at 09:30," the examiner said, citing the posting issue as the reason for the continuance.
Arthur Horn, who identified himself as representing the applicant, confirmed that the rescheduled date is acceptable. "What you stated is correct, and we have checked with everyone with that date of September 18 at, 09:30, and that works for us very well," Horn said, adding that the applicant's land planner, John Ferrante, was present. The examiner and counsel also clarified that existing signage may remain and that new persons of record may be added before the Sept. 18 session so they can participate on the rescheduled date.
