Neighbor reports persistent vibrations near 4110 Suit Road; applicant offers follow-up and notices

During public comment at the Aug. 7 hearing, Miss Smallwood of 4020 Suit Road said she has experienced persistent vibrations in her home that have affected floors and her quality of life since November 2022. She asked whether cleanup activities or other work near the property could be causing the problem.
Matthew Gordon and Dan Berger responded that Open Industrial has not conducted MDE-directed field remediation activities that would cause such effects and that the company's work so far has involved site cleanup and removal of debris and encroachments. Counsel said they would provide a written explanation from the environmental consultant about what voluntary-cleanup work entails and would notify adjacent residents by mail and email when any contractors are scheduled to work on site.
The examiner recorded the resident's concern for the public record and accepted the applicant's offer to supplement the record and to notify nearby residents once remediation steps are set.
