Board recognizes students for citizenship and athletic accomplishments

The Paw Paw board used the presentations portion of its April 13 meeting to recognize student achievement across grade levels and to hear a recap of winter athletics. Middle school leaders announced Citizens of the Month for March 2026 for cooperation: Gregory Hallock (6th grade), Ryan Bovee (7th grade) and Aubrey McGuire (8th grade). The agenda was amended to add additional recognitions: Merida Garcia was named High School Student of the Month and Precious Finley was named Cedar Street Student of the Trimester.
Alan Farnquist, the district’s MS/HS athletic director, provided a winter-sports review summarizing team accomplishments during the season. The minutes record the recognition of students and the athletic review but do not list game-by-game statistics or award citations in the meeting text.
