Board approves bond change orders totaling $241,707.37 for ECC, early elementary, maintenance and athletics

During the April 27 Committee of the Whole, President Brent McNitt presented several bond change orders and the board approved each by unanimous vote. The board approved $43,180.83 for additional Early Childhood Center (ECC) drainage improvements; a $108,374.00 potential change order for Bid Pack 7 (Early Elementary and Maintenance Building mechanical/electrical/facility work); $31,278.90 for new weight-room equipment; and $58,873.64 for ECC playground expansion. Each motion was recorded as carried 6–0.
The motions were presented as bond-funded changes and each approval included the vendor or project description where applicable (Sinclair Recreation for the ECC playground). The board did not record further amendment language in the work session; implementation and contracting will follow standard bond project procedures and procurement rules.
