Arvanitis said the district maintains a fund balance of "25.73%, equivalent to about 3.1 months of operating expenditures," aligning with recommended reserve levels.
Board members cited the finance committee review before the vote. The amendment was presented "per resolution (General Fund)" by the superintendent and business manager and passed with a unanimous vote. The board did not record any roll-call dissent or abstentions on the amendment in the minutes.
