Berry reported two cracks in a control valve; he fabricated a temporary valve to keep the feature operational until a replacement part arrives. The Health Department has approved the temporary plan and an inspection was scheduled for Friday.
Berry also said parks staff are busy weed‑eating and cutting grass in preparation for sports games, and one mower is currently out of service and being repaired. The court received the update but did not take formal action on parks matters at the meeting.
