During his presentation to the Westwood Heights Board, Jonathan Edison described the "Golden Ticket" component of the Nine Pathways program as a multi‑stakeholder incentive system aimed at improving attendance and behavior. "Students receive tickets for attendance; prizes include cash grabs, shoes, and other tailored rewards," the presenter said, noting teachers and parents also can earn rewards and that student ambassadors would encourage peers.
Edison framed the incentives as part of a broader culture-change strategy called the "We Don't Miss" campaign. Board members questioned how long incentives would sustain behavior change and how the district would measure qualitative outcomes such as morale and cultural shift.
