Finance director previews SFE food service contract renewal, 27 fundraisers and utilities comparison

Jiang also reported that 27 fundraisers for the 2025–2026 school year are in varying stages and provided utilities schedules comparing March 2025 to March 2026 to help the board review expense trends. Staff noted purchase orders over $3,000 would be listed on the April 16 consent agenda and that total checks for the period were $1,241,579.04.
Board members asked clarifying questions during the work study session; no votes were taken at the April 14 meeting. The finance items will return to the board during the April 16 regular meeting for formal action.
