Individual agenda comments and general public comments are limited to two minutes; the Board President may limit speakers on the same topic, grant additional time at their discretion, and determine whether remarks are germane to county business. The policy also adds an email field to the comment form so the board can follow up on questions.
The rules reiterate conduct standards for attendees, citing Ohio Revised Code provisions on disturbing a public meeting and disorderly conduct, and authorize removal (or muting for virtual speakers) for disruptive behavior. County staff said the changes were intended to provide clarity and efficiency in public meetings.
