Funding details discussed included an LCCC grant expected to cover tuition (up to $6,500 per student) and related student meals and a reception. OMJ staff said OMJ will pay youth wages, cover credential costs and provide gas cards to support transportation to LCCC and other sites. OMJ is also developing employer relationships and career exploration events in fields such as nursing, welding and manufacturing maintenance.
