During routine business the St. Johns Public Schools Board approved a consent grouping that included personnel changes, resignations and transfers and several student educational trips. New hires approved included Deanna Elsea (Special Education SSP at Eureka Elementary), Jamie Taylor (Part‑time custodian, High School), Taylor Black (school‑age childcare provider), Makayla Varner (part‑time custodian), Kelsea Willcutt (Floating Kitchen Head) and Ava Dailide (part‑time custodian). Several resignations and staff transfers were also recorded in the consent items.
The Board also approved Middle School Orchestra and Choir educational trips: Orchestra to Cleveland, OH, May 15–16, 2025, and Choir to Chicago, IL, May 22–23, 2025. The motions on the consent agenda were approved unanimously. Student Representative Brady Heibeck highlighted that "the band received all 1s for the 40th consecutive year," underscoring recent student accomplishments noted during the meeting.
