The St. Johns Public Schools Board of Education unanimously approved a consent grouping on March 9 that included accounts payable totaling $2,916,146.21 for February 2026. The board recorded fund-level totals of $1,899,533.84 for the General Fund; $19,769.32 for Food Service; $31,183.63 for Activity Fund; $944,289.53 for Debt Service; and $21,369.89 for 2026 SI Bond Capital Projects.
Vice President Parker-Sternburgh moved to approve the consent items and Treasurer Nelson supported the motion; the board approved the package without objection. The consent group also authorized new hires (including childcare providers), several retirements and a resignation, a leave of absence, and an internal transfer, all noted under routine personnel business. The board did not debate the individual personnel names listed under consent during the public portion of the meeting.
