St. Charles board elects new officers for 2026

The St. Charles Community Schools Board of Trustees completed its annual officer elections during the Jan. 7, 2026 meeting, appointing Marcia Kendall as board president, Allison Brady as vice president, Angie Lewis as secretary and Kevin Ritenburg as treasurer. Each nomination was accepted by the nominee and carried by voice vote recorded as 7-0.
The nominations were made from the floor: Mike Goschka nominated Kendall for president (seconded by Allison Brady); Marcia Kendall nominated Brady for vice president (seconded by Goschka); Kendall nominated Angie Lewis for secretary (seconded by Brady); and Joe McNaughton nominated Kevin Ritenburg for treasurer (seconded by Goschka). The board’s roll-call attendance earlier in the meeting listed Allison Brady, Mike Goschka, Marcia Kendall, Angie Lewis, Joseph McNaughton, James McPhail, Kevin Ritenburg and Gabe Kelley as present.
The officer elections were part of routine organizational business at the start of the meeting and were approved without dissent. The appointments take effect immediately for board governance and are reflected in subsequent meeting minutes.
