Board schedules evaluations, committee meetings and community summer-program guide timeline

At the Feb. 11 briefing, trustees and staff announced several near-term administrative dates and community outreach plans. Mrs. Nash said the superintendent's self-evaluation is scheduled for April 8, 2026, and the Board's evaluation is set for May 20, 2026; both evaluations will be conducted in closed session in accordance with law and policy. Mrs. Nash also noted a Buildings and Grounds meeting scheduled for Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
Dr. Coleman described the City/County/School liaison effort to compile a 'Hot Times in the Summer' guide and asked community organizations to submit summer program dates to Rachel Hozeska at City Hall by the end of March so the district can digitize and publish the guide in April and distribute copies in May. New board member Dr. Bady thanked members for the welcome, saying, "Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome."
