He told the committee that detention basins and drainage piping are in place and that crews are coordinating with MassDOT to run a drainage pipe under Route 20; MassDOT approval to cut the street had not been received as of last week.
Rapa said the project team revised completion forecasts and expects a certificate of occupancy and move-in "probably mid January and a final closeout with a punch list in early March." Committee members asked about contingency exposure and learned the town is monitoring budget versus contingency but had "not rung the alarm bell" yet; staff said they expect to continue performing arbitrage calculations related to the bond spending schedule and may need additional borrowing later this year.
