Dr. Adam Spina, superintendent of Williamston Community Schools, updated the board on bond-funded construction and maintenance projects, saying the final permit for the Explorer building “should arrive any day.” He told trustees the WHS paving project is scheduled to begin after the end of the school year and be completed by mid‑July.
Dr. Spina also said the district pool “will be closed May 1 – Mid‑July for installation of Pool Pak and HVAC system.” He reported the softball field still needs one truckload of infield clay and that sidewalk installation to the dugouts is weather dependent. Board members asked clarifying questions about sequencing and timelines; no formal action was taken at this meeting other than referral of items to the April 13 agenda.
