Anne Wade, Williamston High School social studies teacher, presented a PowerPoint on her Fulbright Teacher Exchange trip to India during the Sept. 15 Board meeting. Wade described her preparations, experiences and the guiding questions that framed her exchange.
Board members asked clarifying questions after the presentation and thanked Wade for sharing insights that the district said will inform curriculum and professional development. Mrs. Deal apologized for background noise from cheer practice during the presentation but the Board expressed appreciation for Wade’s work and for the international exchange learning opportunity.
