Commissioners urged to adopt eight opioid-restitution projects and community-reinvestment list

County staff told commissioners the opioid restitution task force approved eight recommended projects included in the meeting packet and that the county should adopt them tonight to meet state timing. "They have 8 projects recommended for you, that are within your packet," the chair said.
Staff said both groups that reviewed the proposals included community members and that the projects fit within the funds’ stated purpose; commissioners were given an opportunity for last questions before staff planned to forward the list downstate to secure funding for FY27.
