County outlines $12M in DHCD flood recovery pots; $5.5M targeted for Georges Creek riverbed work

Staff said they have built an initial priority list and will work with DACD and utilities staff to refine project scopes; one sanitary-sewer item alone had a preliminary estimate of $7,800,000 and staff cautioned many projects may be pushed to next spring depending on procurement and construction-season timing. The speaker recommended coordinated municipal engagement to finalize requests and prioritization.
