The virtual public comment session convened at 1:30 p.m. on April 2 and concluded at 2:07 p.m., with 43 concurrent YouTube viewers and 62 total views during the livestream. The Board invited written comments through April 6; those comments will be provided to board members and filed as part of the public record prior to the April 14 board meeting when trustees will consider and act on tuition and fee rates.
Kim O’Rourke, Secretary to the Board, reviewed public comment procedures at the session and instructed speakers to submit typed copies of their remarks to bov@vt.edu to be included in the permanent record. The Board meeting to consider tuition and fees on April 14 will be held in the Latham Ballroom at The Inn at Virginia Tech and livestreamed for public observers.
