The minutes record the motion passed unanimously (Aye: 7, Nay: 0). Mrs. Belanger then assumed the office of President and "thanked Nancy Deal for her leadership and unwavering commitment to the District."
The reorganization was taken near the start of the regular meeting on Jan. 12, 2026. The Board also noted attendance and participation by district administrators including Superintendent Dr. Adam Spina, Director of Finance Sarah Tynan and Director of Curriculum and Special Education Dr. Michele Cook. Committee assignments were deferred until Mrs. Belanger consults with members and announces appointments.
