Several recommended purchases were discussed on Nov. 17 and were formally moved to the board's Dec. 8 action agenda for full consideration.
Superintendent Dr. Adam Spina summarized three staff recommendations: purchase of two new school buses with Capital Projects Fund dollars; acquisition of snow removal equipment funded from the 2024 bond; and replacement of the near-end-of-life scoreboard for the track and football stadium using Recreation Millage Fund money. After clarifying questions from members, President Nancy Deal moved each recommendation to ACTION at the regular meeting on Dec. 8, 2025.
Why it matters: moving the items to the action agenda opens them to final board votes, contract review, and budget scrutiny; using capital or bond funds will reduce available balances for other projects.
