The Williamston Board of Education approved student travel and a theater appointment during the Oct. 6 meeting.
A motion by Sarah Belanger, seconded by Heather Gorsline, approved the middle school and high school overnight and out-of-state trips as requested; the motion passed 5–0. Separately, on a motion by Heather Gorsline with a second from Deborah Wolf, the board approved 'Brian the Comet' for the high school Theater Production class; that motion also passed 5–0. Earlier in the meeting Dr. Spina and Dr. Delp had indicated support for the out-of-state trip when it was discussed as a future ACTION item.
The minutes do not list destinations, dates, chaperone ratios, or costs for the trips; those operational details were not included in the public record for this meeting and likely appear in the staff backup materials or the Oct. 20 action packet.
