Superintendent Dr. Adam Spina updated the board on multiple bond-funded projects and capital work at the Nov. 17 meeting.
He said the district’s new softball field is on pace for spring use. He added that Explorer Elementary bids came in “higher than the highest projections,” meaning the district will need to review options before proceeding. The high school paving bid was roughly $200,000 under budget, and bids for larger flooring projects will be prioritized for cafeterias and presented in January or February; smaller classroom flooring could follow later. HVAC installation and roof work bids are expected in February.
