Trustees announce neighborhood meetings, sports dates and professional programs

Treasurer Roderick Means reported the boys' basketball team was playing in a tournament on Feb. 25 in Ann Arbor and said the girls' basketball team was scheduled to play in district competition next week at Robichaud. Trustee Angela Hopkins noted the Wayne County Association of School Boards will meet Feb. 26 at Wayne RESA, and that former Westwood Superintendent Sue C. Carnell, PhD, will be a guest speaker.
President Cheryl Bell said she attended Westwood's Got Talent on Feb. 21 and described it as well attended. These announcements were recorded during the board comment section and did not include formal votes or motions.
