County clerk presents archive plan and small transition requests ahead of staffing change

The county clerk reported she had submitted the office's archival plan for the coming fiscal year and said the budget request is largely status quo aside from transition-related line items tied to a personnel change in January. The clerk said some line items increased because of the impending staff transition and that the annual bond and other routine costs remain in place.
"We pretty much didn't do much. Of course, there are gonna be, some of the line items that are higher due to, Lauren's one that she's gonna need in January," the clerk said, asking that the court allow modest increases to cover the transition. She said the office was not requesting new office space or equipment beyond normal needs and described the budget as "the easiest budget ever."
Commissioners thanked the clerk and said staff would follow up on a few line items; no major budget changes or votes were recorded during the morning session.
