Parent urges Forest Hills board to form task force to review gender‑affirmation and Title IX implementation

"There's so much new data and scientific information out about affirming and socially transitioning kids... Are we doing the best we can for these kids?" Slott asked, requesting a task force to look into the district's approach and whether Title IX policies are being applied consistently.
The chair reminded attendees that the district will follow up with those who requested it, and the superintendent noted that appropriate administrators would provide follow-up to individuals who asked for it. Slott also said she submitted a board letter and asked the board in the new year to examine de facto policies and guidelines that shape implementation.
