The Williamston Board of Education voted unanimously to award contracts to replace flooring in select rooms and corridors at the Middle School and High School with a not-to-exceed cost of $337,278, to be paid from the district’s 2024 Bond.
Andrew Dobbs of Christman Company presented the bids and recommended the awards; the motion by David Indish, seconded by Christopher Lewis, passed 7-0. Board members discussed timing and sequencing, and staff said work will begin in summer 2026 to avoid disruption to the school calendar.
The board recorded the roll-call vote as Aye: 7, Nay: 0. The approval is part of ongoing bond-funded improvements the district listed under its 2024 Bond program.
