"The superintendent updated the Board on the likelihood that —summer school' also known as Crew would not be offered by the district going forward. Funding from the State has not increased in nearly 15 years which has made it difficult to hire staff and offer a robust program," the superintendent reported. Board members were advised that these factors combined have led administration to recommend against continuing the program under current funding conditions.
