At the July 28 meeting, grants manager Chris Colter told commissioners that the community services grant award process is complete and that agreements have been signed with awardees. "The $628,001.31 was the total amount of funds that we had, available to award, and we awarded everything this year," Colter said.
Colter said roughly 38 organizations submitted proposals representing more than 40 programs with a combined request of just over $2.6 million, far exceeding available funds. He said the first reporting and invoicing for awardees is scheduled for October and staff plans to produce a year‑end accomplishments summary to show how funds were used.
