Taloga Board holds 8-minute special meeting; approves agenda and adjourns

The Taloga Public Schools Board of Education convened a special meeting at 8:00 A.M. on Dec. 19, 2025 in the Board Conference Room at Taloga High School. President Jerod Acre called the meeting to order; members Doug Kilmer, Stacy King and Justin Fox were present and LaDeana Birney was recorded absent. Superintendent Cherice Fox and Minute Clerk Conner Boettler attended.
Justin Fox moved, seconded by Stacy King, to approve the agenda as part of the minutes; the board’s recorded vote was Yes — Acre, Kilmer, King and Fox. Later in the meeting Justin Fox moved, seconded by Doug Kilmer, to adjourn the meeting at 8:11 A.M.; that motion also passed by the same recorded vote.
The special session’s primary substantive action was the scheduling of a personnel hearing (see related article). There were no resignations to approve during this meeting.
