Taloga Board removes former treasurer from bank accounts, schedules new signatory upon onboarding

The Taloga Public Schools Board voted to remove outgoing Treasurer LaDeana Birney from three district accounts at Great Plains Bank (account numbers 4195, 3950 and 4042) and approved adding Krysten Bryer to the same accounts upon her acceptance of the treasurer position. The motions were made during a special meeting Oct. 24, 2025.
Justin Fox moved to remove Birney from the named accounts, seconded by Stacy King; the motion passed with Acre, King and Fox voting yes and Birney abstaining. Separately, Stacy King moved, seconded by Justin Fox, to add Bryer to accounts 4195, 3950 and 4042 at Great Plains Bank upon her acceptance; that motion passed unanimously (Acre, Birney, King and Fox). The minutes list the specific account numbers recorded above.
