The Taloga Public Schools Board of Education accepted the resignation of Treasurer LaDeana Birney and approved hiring Krysten Bryer as the district treasurer for $13,500 for the remainder of fiscal year 2026. The special meeting was held Oct. 24, 2025; President Jerod Acre called the session to order at 9:00 A.M. and recorded members Jerod Acre, LaDeana Birney, Stacy King and Justin Fox present (Doug Kilmer absent).
Justin Fox moved to accept Birney’s resignation, seconded by Stacy King; the motion passed with Acre, King and Fox voting yes and Birney abstaining. Later, Birney moved to hire Krysten Bryer as treasurer, seconded by Stacy King, and the board voted unanimously to approve Bryer’s salary of $13,500 for the remainder of FY26. Superintendent Cherice Fox and Minute Clerk Conner Boettler were listed as present in the meeting minutes.
