Ricky Morin, speaking during the highway department update, said the crew completed dirt work on Griggs Road as part of the Better Back Roads grant and replaced the culverts needed on North Road.
"About 906 more yards need to be put up for road sand before winter," Morin said, and he added the reclaiming of North Road will begin next week. He also reported a few smaller culverts remain to be replaced before winter closure.
The Selectboard did not ask for additional action beyond routine highway scheduling; board members recorded the update and moved on to grant and other business. The highway details will feed into winter supply orders and any pending grant reports.
