Commission hears regional planning update, housing-target questions and Mad River Path note

During liaison reports the commission heard that all members had attended the last Mad River Valley Planning District (MRVPD) meeting and that no additional update was required. Commissioner Andrew McNealus reported that the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) is working on a regional planning update and encouraged residents to attend a CVRPC meeting on May 12 at 6:30 p.m.
Commissioner Michael Duell questioned how housing targets in the regional plan were established, prompting discussion about housing target numbers and housing stock. Michael also reported on a bridge on the Mad River Path at the bottom of the access road. The liaison reports provided context the commission said it would consider alongside the survey results and Chapter 3 revisions.
