Committee approves Open AWS request to install weather station atop Timm’s Hill

Open AWS said the network aims to place stations at the highest elevations of each U.S. state to study climate patterns and provide visitors with weather updates. The committee approved the request and delegated oversight to Forestry Administrator Joe Grapa; no contentious deliberation or vote tally beyond "motion carried" was recorded in the minutes.
