Price County Buildings & Grounds presented its quarterly operations update to the joint Forestry & Parks / Buildings & Grounds Committee on March 10, 2026. Superintendent Josh Isaacson reported completed preventive maintenance, multiple equipment repairs and an updated computer system to monitor HVAC systems in county buildings.
Isaacson said the department has completed routine quarterly P.M.s, repaired a dryer motor and replaced a security door mechanism at the jail, and began dismantling a decommissioned third boiler. He noted that one employee was injured in December 2025 and was out through January 2026, and that the Highway Department was short one custodian during the same period.
The department is considering purchasing snow removal equipment dedicated to snow removal separate from the current grass/sweeper unit and has ordered a pump after a water-heater repair. The committee was also told that hallway painting and waxing and minor repairs at the Normal Building (including grant-funded WIC office furniture installation) are scheduled.
The update included specific facility items: climate control work in the Sheriff’s server room, radiant heat unit repairs at the Highway garage, reroofing plans for the sign shed, and vent repairs at the airport. No large-scale construction projects were underway during the reported period.
