Commission OKs $28,750 consultant scope for new dispatch and range site

Sheriff Jeff Cope presented a proposal from Driggs Design Group, PA for consultant services on a Dispatch/Range project located on West South Ave. Cope told commissioners the new site is not in the flood plain, which reduced required earthwork and lowered the consultant fee to $28,750. The commission approved the scope of services by a 3-0 vote (Peck/Duft).
"The location of the new site on W. South Ave. is not in the flood plain, therefore less dirt will be needed," Sheriff Jeff Cope said, explaining the lower proposal price. The approved work will be paid from account 017-00-9001 and moves the project into the consultant-engagement phase.
