CVRPC presents regional future land‑use map to Fayston; seeks municipal input before October

Brian Voight of the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission presented the CVRPC's Regional Future Land Use Map to the Fayston Planning Commission on July 13, 2026 and demonstrated how to use the online viewer.
"They are looking for input from the public and also from the municipalities," Voight said, asking local officials and residents to review the map and propose changes. The CVRPC provided an online map at https://cvrpc.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/reporter/index.html?appid=030f15231a5e4b08bd52e4c95dec25ba for review.
Voight said the CVRPC hopes to have suggested changes completed before the commission submits the regional plan materials to the Land Use Review Board in October. Jason Wilson, the town ZA, said he will get information out to the public about how to access the map and how to comment.
Next steps: Fayston residents and municipal staff can review the map and submit comments to CVRPC; the regional agency will incorporate municipal input ahead of its October submission to the Land Use Review Board.
