Cindy King told members the commission expects word on an ADA grant between Thanksgiving and Christmas and reviewed candidate projects, including three small items (back door to town hall, police department entrance door, and a treasurer's office counter) and longer-term ideas for digital-accessibility work.
"We can get up to $250,000... grama awarded in our next round," said a member during discussion of grant scale and priorities. Members discussed the need to plan for interim financing (town fronting costs until reimbursement) and to involve the building inspector and Kieran for vendor selection and oversight if the grant is awarded.
