Interim Clerk-Treasurer Jane Dailey presented the Treasurer's Report, noting that the governmental funds deficit is down to $4,738.85 and that revenue to date exceeds both last year’s figures and the budget pacing. The auditor was informed about the reallocation of insurance premiums, and detailed budget reports and revenue charts for restricted funds and franchise fees were included in the materials.
Council President Dean moved to approve the Treasurer's Report and subsequently moved to approve bills, claims, requisition orders and transfers. Council also approved rolling over a certificate of deposit to the term length that provides the best interest rate. All motions carried unanimously (Dean, Gaston, Frahm).
The minutes list multiple claims and transfers, including quarterly transfers and bond reserves; the warrant for the third quarterly transfer was noted to leave some funds in the General Fund but the heavy expense quarter remains in the fiscal year.
